Buyers pay 0% commission. The price you pay is simply your winning bid, plus any shipping and applicable taxes shown clearly at checkout before you confirm.
Sellers pay a flat 7% commission on the final sale price, deducted from the proceeds before payout. There are no listing fees — you only pay when your item sells.
We accept major cards and secure payment gateways (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro). Payments are processed by trusted providers — we never store your full card number on our servers.
As soon as the auction closes you'll receive a confirmation with a secure checkout link. Please pay promptly — late or missed payment can lead to cancellation of the sale and suspension of your bidding privileges.
Once the buyer has paid and the sale is complete, your proceeds (the final price minus the 7% commission) are remitted to the payout details on your seller account. You can track everything from your seller dashboard.
Open any live lot, enter your amount, and choose how to bid. You'll need to be logged in and verified. The current bid, number of bids and time remaining all update live on the page — no need to refresh.
A Thunder Bid places your exact amount immediately. A Max Bid is a proxy bid: you set the most you're willing to pay, and our system bids on your behalf in set increments — only as much as needed to keep you in the lead, up to your maximum. Other bidders never see your maximum.
Increments are tiered by price and applied automatically: $1 below $100, $5 from $100–$499, $10 from $500–$999, and $25 at $1,000 and above. This keeps bidding fair and predictable.
We let you know right away by email and, if you've enabled them, web-push notifications. The listing and your watchlist tracker update live, so you'll see the new price instantly. Simply raise your bid to take the lead again. If a bid arrives in the final seconds, we may extend the clock briefly to keep it fair.
Every bid is a binding offer to buy at that price, so bids generally can't be retracted. Please bid carefully. If you make a genuine error (such as a clear typo), contact support immediately and we'll do our best to help.
